Flirting with pop, rock and soul influences though still keeping the electronics characterizing TANUKI’s unique sound, this record is sexy, dark, with sharp contrasts and committed, cinematic and visual: we find sci-fi stories (on the song ‘Bones’), thriller scenes (on ‘Clown’), rebellion against racism (on the songs ‘Inked’ and ‘Overboard’), pollution (on ‘Dirty Water’) but also love stories (on ‘Far From The City Lights’).
